Winning the lottery just once in a lifetime seems like a long shot. But Terry Splawn of North Carolina proves that the odds of winning, while slim, are not impossible: Splawn won his third major lottery prize in just a handful of years.
Splawn purchased a $20 Premiere Cash ticket and won a whopping $100,000.
While the win is certainly big, it pales in comparison to Splawn’s other lotto prizes. Four years ago, he reportedly won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket, and two years later, he won again, earning another $1 million.
Remarkably, all three winning tickets were purchased at the very same Sam’s Mini Stop.
“It’s unbelievable,” said Splawn. “It certainly is fun to win.” |
