One family found themselves in a difficult situation when packing up to head home after vacationing in Phoenix, Arizona. Though the Henderson family had thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Airbnb, they had neglected to read the listing in detail. In addition to stripping the sheets off the beds and piling used towels in the laundry room, they would also be required to perform a full floor-to-ceiling remodel on the kitchen.
“I know we’re expected to tidy up a bit and leave the place in good condition,” Jeff Henderson said, “but installing new custom cabinets and a marble countertop is more than I anticipated.”
Jeff’s wife, Tina, agreed. “It makes the price of the place feel a lot less reasonable,” she said.
The Hendersons are currently trying to dispute the contract. |
