| A man in the U.S. nearly blew up a gas station when he tried to kill a spider on his car — with a lighter.
The man sparked a blaze that no doubt eliminated the offending spider — and ignited his car and the nearby gas pump as well.
Quick thinking gas station employee Susan Adams turned off the gas flow and called the fire department. The man was then able to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.
The fire destroyed the gas pump, but luckily no one was hurt, and the car was barely damaged.
The man later apologized and said he is deathly afraid of spiders. |
