A UK doctor explains why he’s “never tired” in YouTube video that has over half a million views.
- No caffeine after 2 pm. Also, no naps, and stay away from alcohol, nicotine, and large meals late in the day.
- No phone before bed. Read a book instead, or take a bath or meditate before bed.
- Blackout curtains. A dark room will massively increase the quality of your sleep.
- Optimal temperature. Studies have shown that the best temperature for sleep is 19ºC.
- Write it down. If you have worries, it’s best to them down to get them off your mind before trying to fall asleep.
- Routine. It’s helpful to keep a routine sleep schedule rather than going to bed and waking up at random times.
