John, Paul, George and Ringo all live in the same house.
One day, John and Paul go out to see a movie.
When they return home, Ringo is dead!
He is lying on the floor in a puddle of water and broken glass.
It is obvious that George is the killer – but he won’t be punished.
Why not?
Answer:
George is a cat. Ringo is a fish.
The cat knocked over the fish bowl. So, Ringo died in a puddle of water and broken glass.

A man left home running as fast as he could.
After a short time, he turned left and continued running.
Then he turned left, running even faster.
He turned left once more, running back towards home.
In the distance he could see a masked man waiting for him at home.
So, he stopped and ran back the other way.
